Production
Fruit from Paarl is hand harvested and gently crushed to ensure a freshness and purity in the finished wine. The juice is naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks with 20% of the blend matured in barrel.
Tasting notes
Dark ruby red in the glass, the nose is a generous mix of ripe plum and dark fruits. The palate is full yet pure with generous blackcurrant and cherry notes backed up with subtle herbaceous spice. The subtle lick of oak frames the wine nicely adding texture and mouthfeel whilst allowing the quality fruit to remain front and centre.
