The old Riesling vines grow on very steep slopes, in an almost amphitheatre-shaped plot within the Hofberg vineyard. These are 60 year old vines - each producing 8 to 10 bunches.
Aromas of stone fruit with lightly spicy, floral notes and a touch of mint. Layers of peach and zesty citrus acidity give way to a ripe, almost creamy palate and a long beautifully-balanced finish
For a treat drink with lobster or scallops - otherwise pair with lightly spicy dishes.
