Production

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are cultivated in the hills of eastern Friuli Venezia Giulia between Capriva del Friuli and Cormons. After hand-harvesting the grapes are macerated for 12 hours in stainless steel below 10°C. After racking and clarification the must is fermented at controlled temperatures for at least 4 months, using selected yeasts.

Tasting notes

Intense, tropical aromas of passion fruit and guava. Elderflower and gooseberry on the palate with fresh acidity and a lightly savoury finish.

Food match

This food-friendly Sauvignon is a good match for a range of dishes, including roast vegetables, and salads with new poatatoes and asparagus.
