Produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes grown on gnarly old bush vines in Vallone’s Iore estate. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and then the wine is matured for 6-8 months in 50 Hl Slavonian oak casks.
Mature, complex nose of dark fruits, spice and savoury notes. On the palate layers of cherry, bitter plum and dried fruit characters combine with spice and liquorice leading to a complex, mellow, yet fresh and sappy finish.
