Production
Marl and limestone soils are found in abundance on the slopes surrounding Turckheim and Wintzenheim. Giving wines with purity and longevity, brilliant expressions of Riesling and Pinots Blanc and Gris come from these soils. Cool fermentation and ample skin contact ensures an aromatic, expressive Riesling.
Tasting notes
Aromatic, ripe citrus nose, quite limey with hints of petrol and a full, intense palate with more ripe citrus, subtle honeyed flavours and nicely balancing acidity on the long finish. A fine Alsace Riesling with great potential to age.
