Production
Both components come from dryland vines with deep root systems and are naturally fermented. The Grenache gives freshness and bright red fruits, Paarl Mourvèdre rounds it off, providing structure and complexity.
Tasting notes
Ripe plum and red berry fruit on the nose with warm earthy layers and peppery spice. Soft tannins with a fresh acidity, balanced by juicy red fruit and hints of cherry bakewell on the palate. Exceedingly fine Rhône blend from Mr Rossouw.
Food match
Great with roast beef or lamb, grilled meats and BBQs.
