Vines are planted in the limestone soils of Roverè della Luna, north of the city of Trento. Here yields are relatively low, with small and compact bunches, and it is an area recognised for the quality of its Pinot Nero. After maceration on skins and fermentation in stainless steel, the wine spends a short time in oak before bottling.
Bright, fresh, youthful style of Pinot Noir with red berry and cherry fruit. Crunchy red fruits on the palate with notes of bilberry and wild cherry balanced by supple tannins and juicy acidity. A savoury spicy finish showing delicate, subtle varietal characters.
Pair with light dishes such as charcuterie and paté, or steak frites and rare lamb.
