Bodega de Sarria is located in the heart of Valdizarbe, covering a total area of 210 hectares. Average rainfall is 400 to 600 I/m2 per year. The grapes for Sarria's Crianza come from Sarria's own vineyards as well as from other vineyards whose viticulture is controlled and monitored by Sarria. The Tempranillo and Cabernet grapes are vinified independently at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees C. After malolactic fermentation the wine is decanted and put in cask. While the wine is being aged for around on year in American oak it is racked twice. It is then bottled and kept for several additional months in the winery before being released.
