2014 Production
Grapes are picked in September then left to dry on racks until mid December. The wine spends a minimum of 24 moths in new oak and 12 months in bottle before release.
Maturation
75% in stainless steel and up to 25% in barrel for 6 months: three quarters of which were 2nd or 3rd French oak 300l barrels.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red in colour, nose of ripe cherries with hints of liqourice. Dense heavy tannins are balanced with bright crunchy acidity.
