2014 Production
Produced from a selection of Sangiovese grapes, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Maturation
75% in stainless steel and up to 25% in barrel for 6 months: three quarters of which were 2nd or 3rd French oak 300l barrels.
Tasting notes
Aromas of raspberry, cherry and hints of lavender. The palate is fresh and juicy with berry and cherry fruits, bright acidity and soft tannins.
Food match
A match for Tuscan chicken or white bean pappardelle dishes - or fish soups and chowders.
