From grapes grown on both sides of the River Adige - on clay-limestone soils with excellent exposure. The grapes undergo a maceration period of 13-14 days. After fermentation, maturation takes place in barriques and small oak barrels for 18 months.
Aromas of plum, blackberry and tobacco. The palate is plush and juicy, richly-flavoured with good concentration of ripe redcurrant and cherry fruit complemented by leafy, cedary notes. Fresh acidity and supple tannins yield into a long, spicy finish.
