Production
Shiraz juice, extracted from the middle and later stages of the press, then fermented in stainless under temperature control to maintain freshness. 5% juice from firmly pressed Cabernet Franc grapes have been added to a rolling ferment to build structure and fruit profile. Rested on lees in old 400L French oak barrels for three months prior to blending with a fraction of Sauvignon Blanc for lift and armonatics. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Tasting notes
A fruitful aroma of firm nectarine and citrus pith, with lithe red fruit on the palate. Both appealing and refreshing when chilled.
