Power Lines White Field Blend, WO Paarl 2025

SBO079

Wildeberg

Power Lines represents two neighbouring parcels of vines that winemaker JD was keen to work with after tasting other field blends from around the world; the finished wines speaking more of the region than a single varietal can. Production

This vineyard in Agter Paarl is planted with each of the varietals in rows and harvested over a period of 2 days with grapes reaching ripeness together. All grapes are then co-fermented and aged in used French oak for 9 months.

Tasting notes

Typically ripe tropical and apple notes are complemented with bright and crisp acidity. The wine is generous in texture and fruit character and although it will age gracefully thanks to its structure it has been made to be immediately drinkable in its relative youth.
