Production
Grown on the Clay- Calcareous soils of Progreso, this 100% Tannat is aged for 3 to 4 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Perfumed, lifted and bright, this juicy Tannat is dark but ruby-red alive with plummy joy, walnuts, spices, and young mushrooms. The palate has a smooth structure, with good density, with soft smoky aromas of blueberries, blackberries, and raisins. A clear, unadorned expression shaped by precise cellar work.
Food match
Perfect with all meats, especially lamb, pasta, and mild cheeses. Very good with Uruguayan empanadas and pastries.
