The Catarratto grapes are sourced from the Marsala area on the west coast of Sicily, and from hillside vineyards near Alcamo at 600m altitude. Gentle pressing, followed by cool, slow fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled after a short period of ageing on fine lees.
Ripe peach and tropical fruit aromas with hints of barley sugar and a lightly herbal note. More stone fruit characters on the palate, gently honeyed, and finishing with fresh citrus acidity.
Drink with seafood, grilled fish and salads.
