Production
All grapes are hand harvested from one of the single vineyards within the Controlled Appellation (DOC) in Lujan de Cuyo. This Argentinian vineyard boasts 45+ year old vines planted at 950masl. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, and 12 months in bottle before release.
Tasting notes
An intense Malbec that is deep red in colour. The nose has hints of violet with concentrated notes of red fruits, and plum that blend with star anise aromas and a stuctured palate from its ageing in French oak. The finish is long and smooth with sweet and soft tannins.
Food match
