Production
Sourced from Nieto's 43 year old vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo. Nieto were the first people in the area to use the bonarda grape variety in a table wine. Aged in French oak for 10 months.
Tasting notes
a birght nose of fresh cherries and toast over a dark palate of five spice, Christmas cake and dark chocolate with a long, rich finish.
Food match
Bonarda is a perfect match with rich, meaty, casseroles, tomato based pasta dishes and cheeses.
