Maison de Vigneron Rouge is made predominantly from a blend of Grenache and Syrah from the vineyards of south-eastern Fance. Traditional viticulture is used with part manual/part machine harvest. Grapes are cool fermented in vats in order to slow the fermentation process and gain immediate fruit flavours. Maceration last between 5 to 10 days before pressing and deciding on the final blend.
Instant first impressions are of a classic southern French red; friendly and warming, raspberry and damson fruit, typical of Grenache, are sprinkled with the darker fruit and spice of Syrah.
Drink with hearty food such as grilled meats and casseroles. Also great with BLTs, pizzas and medium mature, hard cheeses.
