From our friends the German Family in Cachapoal. Pinot Grigio ripens really well here thanks to the warm gentle climate. The vines are trained in a classic pergola system so the canopy shelters the grapes from the often-strong summer sun, helping he grapes retain natural acidity. We particularly like the freshness of this wine and work closely with the grower to ensure the grapes are picked at the right level of ripeness to give a nice, lively texture. 100% stainless steel throughout the whole treatment is used to essentially capture the PG fleeting fruit.
Deliciously different for Chile, but classically pebbly PG. Really 'right and proper' stone fruit characters on the nose and palate. Much more flavoursome than other PGs you'll find out there - it'’s delicious with ripe apple and pear flavours, with a crisp juicy finish on the palate.
Great with Malaysian curry, creamy pork dishes and cheese and onion tart.
