La Ruchette Dorée Rosé, AOP Côtes du Rhône 2024

FPB9427

Maison Boutinot

Côtes du Rhône is one of the best loved quality French regions. Although known primarily for red wine, the rosés, especially those from garrigue-strewn vineyards such as these, are a southern French treat.

Production

From across the southern Rhône we seek out varieties ideally suited to rosé, which are often growing in vineyards where wild lavender, rosemary and olives are abundant. These local botanicals have been illustrated on the front label and reflect the typical ‘garrigue’ plants of the Southern Rhône vineyards. Specific plots of these varieties - Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah - are selected to deliver the right balance and flavour profile. La Ruchette Dorée Rosé is made using traditional methods, including gentle pressing and vinification at cool temperatures to extract as much aroma, flavour and delicate colour as possible with very little tannin.
