The Cortese grapes are sourced from south-west facing vineyards in the Monferrato hills, where they are planted in limestone-clay soils. After hand-harvesting the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, with a couple of months spent on lees before bottling.
Fresh citrus and stone fruit aromas, with lightly floral notes. The palate has apple and pear characters balanced by hints of apricot and white spice, and crisp lemony acidity on the finish.
A good match for summer salads, and chicken and fish dishes.
