The Primitivo vines grow in shallow red soils typical of the Manduria region, due to the high levels of iron oxides. Harvested at the start of September, the grapes are fermented, and then matured for around six months in French barriques.
Aromas of cherry, red berry and balsamic from oak ageing. The palate has ripe fruits, bright acidity and rounded tannins.
