Production

Viognier grapes from a small parcel of less than a hectare are picked at optimum ripeness, a decision made by Guillaume Letang in consultation with the grower Patrick Bech, to deliver rich, concentrated flavours. Situated in the Vin du Pays du Gard in the Languedoc, the vineyard has abundant apricot trees that surround the vineyards which, like the vines, benefit from the terroir and climatic conditions of the region. The must is cooled prior to vinification to ensure maximum fruit concentration, and no oak is used. We bottle in dark glass to protect the fresh aromatic characters. The wine is grown and vinified sustainably, achieving HVE3 certification.

Tasting notes

A Viognier of intense power, character and zest; soft apricots, honeydew melon with notes of chamomile tea are followed by a rich palate and long perfumed finish.

Food match

Ideal with roast pork stuffed with sage and apricot.
