Production
Produced from grapes grown on clay-limestone and Kimmeridgian Portlandian soils, Aligoté is an early-ripening and high-acid grape variety. Traditional winemaking methods are employed to produce a fresh and delicately fragrant white.
Tasting notes
2021: Soft citrus and mineral notes are followed by riper citrus on the palate, with good body and some chalky textural elements coming through. Very moreish on the finish with refreshing acidity to the end.
Food match
Recommended for an apéritif, espcially mixed as a Kir but delicious too with grilled or steamed white fish and simple salads.
