Production
The domaine has 4 hectares of Trousseau, a rare red variety which represents only 5% of Jura's land under vine. Trousseau often struggles to ripen sufficiently, so yields are restricted to 45hl/ha and it is hand-harvested with careful manual sorting (triage). This Trousseau is vinified traditionally, making use of large, ancient oak barrels for gentle oxygen influence without imparting dominant oak flavours.
Tasting notes
A glorious expression of the rare Trousseau variety, Pinot Noir's unruly sibling. Crunchy slightly gamey red cherry fruit with bright acidity and long tasty finish.
