Production
Made from selected plots grown on the shelly, flinty, kimmeridgian clay of the Saint-Andelain hill overlooking the Loire river. These plots are vinified separately and gently using gravity feeding and low temperatures to settle the must. Fermentation takes places over three weeks under regulated temperatures, followed by time on the fine lees.
Tasting notes
2021 Pierre à Fusil - as the name suggests has delicate gun-flint aromas on the nose, followed by a herbaceous, citrus and textural palate. Elegant, refined with a lovely mineral finish.
