Production
Previously the blend had a slightly higher proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, but with the excellent 2022 vintage came a change to 50:50 Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc. 100% destemmed blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in concrete for 11 months.
Tasting notes
Bright red fruits with hints of earthiness and spice. The 2022 has a lovely broad texture making it an incredibly easy glass.
Food match
Ripe and full but tannins are incredibly well intergrated so this is very versatile. Lamb is a cracking match but will complement all manner of dishes.
