Production
Winemaking is traditional in style and is overseen by Jean Michel Lihrmann - pneumatic pressing, temperature controlled fermentation, no finings and light filtration before bottling - all to preserve fruit and aromatic qualities and elegance. His philosophy is to make wines with good acidity and fruit balance.
Tasting notes
Delicately perfumed aromas of rose petals, peaches and lychees on the nose are followed by a pleasingly aromatic but still fresh palate of rose and sweet lychee that goes on long into the finish. With a lovely lick of acidity to balance it all out.
Food match
This wine is perfect with aromatic spice based dishes (particularly Thai). It can also be served with a strong cheese such as Munster or Stliton.
