Production
The Bobal grapes are sourced from the Casa Lo Alto estate. After hand-harvesting some whole bunches (around a third of the total) are macerated with lightly crushed grapes. After fermentation the wine is racked to 5,000 litre French oak foudres where they spend 6 months before bottling, without clarifying and with only a light filtration.
Tasting notes
Intense red fruit aromas with notes of blueberry. Rich cherry and strawberry fruit on the palate with fine-grained tannins giving balance. Juicy and full-flavoured.
