Production

The Gamza and Cabernet Franc grapes are sourced from a single vineyard in North West Bulgaria on the shore of the Danube River, at just 35-50 metres, where the climate is temperate continental. Fermentation and maceration take place is stainless steel at controlled temperatures.

Tasting notes

Pale with an attractive garnet colour, this wine has notes of plum and damson, attractive warm spice and hints of herbal characters. On the medium-bodied palate there is good fresh acidity, smooth tannins and berry fruit notes.

Food match

A good match for dishes with tomato and paprika such as Goulash, or spicy Asian foods.
