Production
Every year Boutinot winemakers select only quality parcels of wine from different estates and producers, each contributing key components to the finished blend. The grapes for this 100% Sauvignon Blanc are sourced from Gascony where Sauvignon Blanc typically displays excellent varietal purity, zippy acidity and characterful flavours. The grapes are sorted and pressed before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Every care is taken to preserve the classic varietal Sauvignon Blanc notes.
Tasting notes
This wine possesses fine aromatics, a pure citrus fruit expression, with herbaceous aromas and crisp green apples on the palate. Fresh acidity, varietal character and above all, a clean, persistent finish.
Food match
Drink on its own, well chilled, or try it with tapas; the racy acidity in the wine makes it a particularly great match for seafood. Boquerones anchovies would be fantastic!
