With 230 grower members across 690ha of vineyard Araldica have access to great quality Moscato Bianco. The vineyard area for DOCG wines stretches from the hillsides and right bank of the Tanaro river, including the Langhe, to the Alto Monferrato. Araldica is situated in the Monferrato hills where Moscato thrives. Once harvested the Moscato grapes are simply fermented longer, and at a lower temperature, than for Asti Spumante Dolce. This creates a drier and crisper style. After fermentation has finished there is around 12 weeks fine lees contact, before bottling, to combine complexity and floral aromatics.
A delicious sparkling wine with intense floral and fruity aromas of peach, rose and grape. More ripe grapey characters on the palate are balanced by refreshing crisp acidity.
A fresh aperitif, or pair with light starters and salads.
