Adobe - Boutinot

Adobe is an ancient construction material made from a mixture of clay, sand, water and straw, shaped into bricks and dried in the sun, traditionally used in the Chilean countryside for homes and other buildings. Given the inherent value of this natural material, and in search for sustainability in every area of the winery’s development, Emiliana chose adobe to build the walls of its sustainable wine cellar at the Los Roblos estate, and in honour of this noble material, have named their line of Reserva level wines made with organic grapes after it. Emiliana’s Adobe range of wines reflect the quality of their vineyards, always with a deep respect for nature and their workers… they also believe each variety is perfect for forward-thinking consumers who are concerned about caring for the environment.
