Boutinot brings Georgian Wine to the UK
Introducing our newest producer - Teliani Valley
Teliani’s vineyard in East Georgia
We’re delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with renowned, Georgian wine producer Teliani Valley.
Based in Eastern Georgia, equidistant between the Caspian and the Black Seas, Teliani Valley’s production process is a fusion of state-of-the-art, modern facilities with traditional wine making processes.
This collision of old and new underpins the unique talent of the winemakers, perfectly capturing their personality and delivering a portfolio of wines with amazing flavour combinations, unique to this beautiful part of the world.
Teliani’s production facility incorporates traditional Georgian winemaking within beautiful, modern facilities
As a place where wine is woven deep into the culture, we were blown away by their passion for wine and the energy and enthusiasm they bring to the table.
Plus, it’s not every day you get to enjoy wine created using tools from the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list! Their use of enormous, egg-shaped pots called ‘Qvevri’ (pronounced k-vevri), buried underground to maintain a consistent temperature, the oldest known vinification method, dating back over 8,000 years.
In 2017 archeologists in Georgia unearthed a Qveri over 8,000 years old
Our partnership with Teliani will deliver five of their amazing wines for our UK customers including three reds (Saperavi, Saperavi Unfiltered and Glekhuri Kisiskhevi Saperavi Qvevri) along with the first ever ‘Amber’ wines on our portfolio (Kakhuri No8 and Glekhuri Kisi Qveri).
Their combination of diverse production methods, together with rare and unique grapes, delivers a portfolio of wine that demands to be tasted sooner rather than later.
Keep your eyes peeled for further features on the team and their wines – in the meantime further information can be found on their producer page here – Teliani Valley

Our account managers are eager to share this amazing wine with you as soon as possible and are available for any questions.
And while you’re at it, give them a follow on social, they’re lovely folk!
