Review Round-Up (September 2025)
We truly believe our wines are fantastic, but you already knew that – we wouldn’t sell them if we didn’t!
That said, it is always nice when someone else recognises the quality in our portfolio, even better when they write a lovely review in the press to tell everyone about it…
Here’s a round-up of what they’ve been saying about us recently!

Pisano RPF Albariño 2024: The Pisano brothers have aged their inaugural Albariño in oak, which has given the wine lovely breadth and appealing notes of cinnamon and baking spices. White blossom, fuzzy peach and that trademark saline lick come through in this structured, bold style of Albariño. (AB) 17pts Jancis Robinson (August 2025)
Light oak and baking spice with cinnamon aromas. Fuzzy peach and white blossom flavours on a creamy, textured palate. Vibrant acidity and saline finish create a structured, inviting, multi layered Albariño. 92 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Pisano Cisplatino Albariño, Région Progreso 2024: Bright apple and white peach aromas. Crisp, zesty palate with a subtle herbal edge and clean citrus line. Delicate salinity adds charm to the refreshing, finely balanced finish. 92 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Bodega Urqo El Mirador Chardonnay, Chacayes 2023: Delicate lavender and meyer lemon with vibrant tension and brightness. Stony, with thyme and lemongrass. Generous, showing ripe citrus and white peach. Excellent value. 93 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Kovács Nimród Monopole Blues Kékfrankos, Nyilasmár & Nagyfai 2018: Juicy red berry, cherry cordial and strawberry notes. Supple and mellow, the palate shows gentle evolution with hints of leather, clove and balsamic, finishing fresh, lively and pleasantly mature. 91pts Decanter Magazine (August 2025)
Agricola Ficomontanino Noble Kara, IGT Rosato Toscana 2023: Straddling the red/rosé divide with its bright fuchsia colour, this is intense in its bright strawberry fruit, with the crunch of raspberry seed and a dash of maraschino cherry. Toothsome and chewy – a really moreish Sangiovese. 91pts Decanter Magazine (August 2025)
Schieber Pincészet Trilógia Kékfrankos, Szekszárdi Borvidék 2022: Plum, sour cherry and strawberry with notes of black tea, vanilla and chocolate. Herbaceous, grainy, drying tannins. Medium-bodied, fresh and structured, with a rustic finish. 88pts Decanter Magazine (August 2025)
Circumstance Sauvignon Blanc, WO Stellenbosch 2024: Very pale. Intense but not stereotypical Sauvignon Blanc, no passion fruit or green pepper. Instead there’s grapefruit, crushed stones, maybe just a hint of gooseberries. Even though there are a few grams of residual sugar, it has avoided the sweet-sour of not-bone-dry Sauvignon and does taste dry, with a firm, pithy texture from all that time on the lees. Deliciously fresh but not eye-watering, the texture and the depth of flavour balancing the high acidity. (JH) 16.5pts Jancis Robinson (September 2025)
CoPa Torontel, Valle de Itata 2021: Jasmine and orange blossom mingle with candied fruit and subtle salinity typical of Itata. Juicy, fresh and vibrant with textured palate, mouth watering acidity and a balance, inviting, floral finish. 93 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
CoPa Semillón, Valle de Itata 2023: Flinty reduction and struck match aromas lead to bright citrus and honeysuckle. Mineral, salty granite tang with refreshing acidity and grippy texture. Pure, elegant and complex with a flavourful citrus-honey finish.93 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Signos de Origen La Vinilla Chardonnay Roussanne, DO Valle Casablanca [Organic & Biodynamic] 2022: Engaging lemon balm, white pepper and orchard fruit aromas. Rich, creamy palae with volume and freshness. Restrained elegance. 92 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Tabalí Barranco Viognier, DO Valle de Limarí 2020: Crisp and aromatic, with vibrant tropical fruit. Balanced weight, creamy lees and bright acidity. Fresh and characterful. 92 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Tabalí Talinay Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, DO Valle de Limarí 2024: Racy, vibrant, with mouth-watering acidity and citrus pith. Floral, delicate and textural, showing wet stone and sea breeze character. Elegant, graceful with gentle spice and basil. 92 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Cadus Tunuyán Chardonnay, Valle de Uco 2023: Supple, fresh, with red apple, lemon curd and fennel. Simple, balanced, with enough brightness to stay engaging. Creamy finish adds charm. 92 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
Tabalí Talinay Vineyard Chardonnay, DO Valle de Limarí 2023: Zesty and bright with citrus pith, kiwi and salinity. Lean, linear with refreshing acidity. 90 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)
