What's been said about our wines...
Fortunate to have been born in the great city of Liverpool and to fall into the world of wine. More than 20 years later I'm Boutinot's marketing manager for much of Europe (mostly Italy and Spain) and more than content with my compact family, including 3 cats (sadly just the 11 legs) and a 1969 'Dark Star' (no, not a wine!)
We truly believe our wines are fantastic, but you already knew that – we wouldn’t sell them if we didn’t!
That said, it is always nice when someone else recognises the quality in our portfolio, even better when they write a lovely review in the press to tell everyone about it…

Prà Morandina Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso 2018: “Plenty of dried cherries, berries, figs, walnuts and hints of raisins. It’s full-bodied and chewy with polish and brightness at the same time. Drink or hold.” 92 pts. JamesSuckling.com (23rd-30th August ’20)

Ruviano Verdicchio Classico (Organic) 2019: ” …is remarkably spicy and savory, with a whiff of wild herbs and lemon zest that completes its gorgeous bouquet. Its silky textures give way to ripe melon with hints of lime, saline-minerals and juicy acids, which keep the experience lively and fresh, tapering off with inner florals and a hint of sour citrus. The Underworld Blend No.3 2019: Winner of the Old Mutual Trophy for Best Rhône-Style Red Blend at Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show, South Africa’s premier wine competition.
Wildeberg Range: Our Wildeberg wines were tasted by Tim Atkin MW as part of this ‘South Africa Special Report 2020’, all the wines in the range score 90+ points. A real highlight was Wildeberg White 2019 being mentioned as one of the ‘Whites of the Year’ and scoring a very impressive 95 points!
