We truly believe our wines are fantastic, but you already knew that – we wouldn’t sell them if we didn’t!

That said, it is always nice when someone else recognises the quality in our portfolio, even better when they write a lovely review in the press to tell everyone about it…

Here’s a round-up of what they’ve been saying about us recently!

Tabalí Talinay Caliza Chardonnay, DO Valle de Limarí 2023: This chardonnay is lightly salty, limey and chalky, with incredible depth and purity. It’s stony and austere but so engaging, full of minerals that contribute to its texture and volume. It has fullness but not fleshiness, and good length. So idiosyncratic. The chalkiness is like finely ground eggshells and seashells on your palate. Fermented in used barrels. 99 Points and Number 1 in Top 100 Wines from Chile – Jamessuckling.com

Emiliana Gê, DO Valle de Colchagua [Organic & Biodynamic] 2022: This wine has a clear Mediterranean identity, with excellent depth of fruit, richness and complexity. Aromas of dark minerals, spices, rich berries, chocolate and mussel shells. It is racy, with excellent tension and elasticity, showing chalky tannins and a lengthy finish. Slightly fruitier this year than in 2021. 55.9% syrah, 22.3% carmenere, 8% malbec, 5.3% garnacha, 4.3% carignan and 4.2% mourvedre. 97 Points Top 100 Wines from Chile – Jamessuckling.com *note we are currently selling the 2019 of this wine.

Tabalí Roca Madre Malbec, DO Valle de Limarí 2020:  Lovely tobacco, fresh blackberries, minerals, violets and spices on the nose. Tense and medium- to full-bodied on the palate, with reactive tannins offering good vibrations before a lengthy finish. 100% malbec from Rio Hurtado. 95 Points Top 100 Wines from Chile – Jamessuckling.com

Tabalí Tatié Extra Brut Rosé, DO Valle de Limarí NV: Intense Limari character, with sourdough, yeast, brioche, fruitcake, tangy raspberries and seashells. Really delicious, with small beads and a lengthy finish. One of the best sparkling wines from Chile. 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay. 94 Points Top 100 Wines from Chile – Jamessuckling.com

Cadus Tunuyán Criolla Chica, Valle de Uco 2023: Santiago Mayorga was one of the first winemakers in a large winery in Argentina to take a risk in selling a wine labelled Criolla. He has always been an elegant champion of the underdog, and this lively red comes from a field blend planted at 1,000m in the Uco Valley – from which he carefully hand-selects the Criolla Chica bunches. The result is a rather deeply coloured wine, reflective of the high-elevation sunshine, and a perfumed expression of cherries and violets and fine, chalky tannins. A silky and seductive wine. 93 Points Amanda Barnes MW Decanter Magazine (Sept 2025)

Bella’Aja Bolgheri Superiore 2022:  The nose opens with decadent vanilla, malted chocolate, wild herbs and macerated blackberries, then turns savoury with the tangy depth of warm pavement and petrol. The palate is sweet and juicy with more berries and chocolate, but a rising heat combines with earth and pepper on the finish to push back and create an energetic tension. An incredibly vibrant wine. 94 points. Danielle Callegari, Wine Enthusiast (September 2025)

Shannon Ridge Chardonnay, Lake County AVA 2023: This wine is fresh, lively with aromas of pear, apple, citrus, and notes of toasted oak on the nose. The flavours on the palate are baked pear, Yellow apple, cinnamon, orange peel, vanilla cream, and a long silky finish. Pair your weekday take away. 93 Points and number 4 in “Best Buys for 2025” Tonya Pitts, Wine Enthusiast (September 2025)

Kloster Eberbach Crescentia Höllenberg Spätburgunder Trocken. VDP. Erste Lage 2022: Juicy, bright, tightly wound. Crunch red cherry, cranberry and appley acidity. Light and accessible with floral lift, oak spice and green herbal notes. Structured, fresh and well defined. 91pts Decanter Magazine (September 2025)

Daniel Fries Pinot Noir Dom 2022: CM Red cherry fruit mixed with a green leafy note, and the spice of toasted oak. An elegant style that never goes out of fashion; lightness and nonchalance. MD Ripe and fresh, a well-proportioned blend with tender tannins and plush redcurrant and plummy fruits. Pleasure-bound, not dense or heavy. SN A balanced palate shows a truly elegant, lifted red fruit element and intensity. Lively in the glass, joyful: very well done. 96pts Decanter Magazine (September 2025)

Château Mercian Koshu, Iwasaki 2023: Hailing from Iwasaki’s clay and gravel soils, and fermented and aged in large, used oak barrels. Fresh golden apple, yuzu and white peach on the nose, with green fruits and yellow citrus zest on the palate. The finish shows tangerine peel and nuts. 88pts Decanter Magazine (September 2025)
