We truly believe our wines are fantastic, but you already knew that – we wouldn’t sell them if we didn’t!
That said, it is always nice when someone else recognises the quality in our portfolio, even better when they write a lovely review in the press to tell everyone about it…
Here’s a round-up of what they’ve been saying about us this last month!
Rulendis Pinot Grigio 2019: “After years of research via PICA*, vineyards planted at higher than 600 metres – much higher than PG would normally be planted, maturing three weeks later and changing the profile of the wine with its mountain profile. There is also a very strict selection of grapes, each vineyard fermented separately in stainless steel, before final blending. Peaches and orange peel sum this wine up, along with a dash of mineral salts. Great intensity, juiciness, but a shimmering clarity to the acidity.” 90pts, Tom Cannavan, Wine-Pages.com (16th May ’22)

Salvaje Syrah 2021: “A very primary, scented and floral red with fresh blueberries, chalk, raw spices and hints of pear and guava. Really bright and fresh with a medium to full body, framed in a super-drinkable set. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Delicious now” 93pts James Suckling, April 2022 Tasting Report (6th May ’22)
Nieto Don Nicanor Malbec 2020: “Smoky blackberries, white pepper, green olives and violets. A full-bodied red, showing very powerful, sinewy tannins that pervade the whole palate.” James Suckling Argentina Annual Report ( 3rd May ’22)
Brusafer Pinot Nero Superiore 2018*: “A lovely food wine, with sweet wild strawberry and red cherry fruitiness, a sprinkling of herbs, refreshing acidity, and spice from 20 months in French oak. Translucent in the glass, and modest in alcohol, this is nevertheless no wallflower. Pinot Noir that brings to mind mountain breezes.” 90pts.
