We truly believe our wines are fantastic, but you already knew that – we wouldn’t sell them if we didn’t!

That said, it is always nice when someone else recognises the quality in our portfolio, even better when they write a lovely review in the press to tell everyone about it…

Here’s a round-up of what they’ve been saying about us recently!

Bodega Urqo Los Durmientes Malbec, Valle de Uco 2024: Sage, blackberries and black plums on the nose of this youthful red. It’s linear and medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins and a salty undertone to the dark fruit. 91 Pts JamesSuckling.com

Bodega Urqo Palo Santo Malbec, Valle de Uco 2024: Fruity and easygoing, showing aromas of red and dark berries, dried flowers and dried orange peel. Medium-bodied with silky texture. 90 Pts JamesSuckling.com

Bodega Urqo Palo Santo Cabernet Franc, Valle de Uco 2024: The nose of ripe blackcurrants, blackberries, toasted spices and herbs leads to a medium- to full bodied, succulent palate, nicely framed with velvety tannins. Juicy and mouth-filling. 90 Pts JamesSuckling.com

Bodega Urqo Palo Santo Sauvignon Blanc, Valle de Uco 2024 Sliced pears, lemons and grapefruit with a hint of aniseed on the nose of this crisp, refreshing white. It’s medium bodied, cool and zesty. 91 Pts JamesSuckling.com

Cadus Appellation Tunuyan Pinot Noir 2023: The widely planted 777 clone from Burgundy provided the raw material for this Pinot Noir from vines at 1,400 metres in Los Árboles. Fermented with 15% whole bunches, it’s a racy, joyful, expressive red with energy and focus to spare, combining aromas of jarilla and patisserie spices with a palate of pomegranate and goji berry sweetness. 92 pts Tim Atkin Argentina special report 2025

Cadus Appellation Tunuyan Chardonnay 2024: Blessed with natural acidity from its source at 1,400 metres in Los Árboles, this is a textured, layered Chardonnay that was made with a combination of oxidative and reductive handling. Fermented in 20% new wood, as well as stainless steel and ceramic eggs, it’s a worked, well-structured style with layers of vanilla, cinnamon and lemon butter and a slightly salty undertone. 93 pts Tim Atkin Argentina special report 2025

Nieto Don Nicanor Malbec 2023: Organic and biodynamic wines have almost entered the mainstream in Argentina, thanks to wines like this Malbec from La Consulta. Stylishly matured in 15% new wood, it’s an intense, vibrantly perfumed Uco Valley red, with tarragon, violet and fennel aromas, structured tannins and a core of bramble and blackberry fruit.  93 pts Tim Atkin Argentina special report 2025

Nieto Patrimonial Bonarda 2024: Roberto González is rare among winemakers in Argentina because he specialises in Bonarda and has even written a book about the variety. Sourced from four parcels within the same vineyard, this is a textured, unwooded style with flavours of bramble, plum and red berries and supple, easy-going tannins. 92 pts Tim Atkin Argentina special report 2025

Bodega Urqo El Mirador Chardonnay, Chacayes 2023: Picked in two stages to add extra layers to the resulting wine, this is an impressive, limited production Chardonnay from Chacayes. Fermented in stainless steel and 60% new wood, it has appealing layers of citrus, tangerine and nougat, subtle wood spice and a core of refreshing minerality. Worth keeping an eye on. 91 pts Tim Atkin Argentina special report 2025

Contesa Pecorino 2024:  Candied lemon peel and honey on the nose with flavours of tangerine and apricot. Nice zesty texture in the mouth with a good finish. 90pts Decanter Magazine (June 2025)

Cadus Criolla Chica 2023: This opens with a lovely nose of bright herbs, red fruit and peppermint. The palate is peppery, nervy and juicy, balanced by freshness and subtle tannins that add depth and dimension. Sourced from a pergola-trained criolla chica vineyard planted in 1957 in Vista Flores. Fermented and aged in concrete eggs. 95pts  Jamessuckling.com (June 2025)

L’Ormarine Duc De Morny Picpoul Pinet 2024: Textbook Picpoul de Pinet – a little bit greeny, a little bit briny, a little bit like a yellow-gold lemon in a rock pool full of samphire and seaweed. The kind of wine that makes you really, really want a platter piled with fried whitebait, chunks of lemon and a huge bowl of aioli. 16pts Jancis Robinson (July 2025)
